Members of the Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration of Moldovan Parliament approved advisory opinions on the denunciation of two agreements concluded on the platform of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), APA reports citing Radio Moldova.
The Agreement on interaction in the field of preparedness for and response to the consequences of exceptional natural and man-made disasters, drawn up in Minsk on 22 January 1993, will be terminated.
At the same time, the Agreement between the CIS Member States on Strategic Armed Forces of 30 December 1991 will be denounced.
Earlier, the Speaker of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, had addressed a request to the Government to initiate the regulatory procedure for Moldova's withdrawal from the Agreement on the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
