Twitter Inc. owner and CEO Elon Musk revealed on Tuesday that his meeting with European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton concerning the European Union's Digital Services Act (DSA) was "good," APA reports citing Teletrader.
"The goals of transparency, accountability & accuracy of information are aligned with ours. @CommunityNotes will be transformational for the latter," Musk wrote on his social media platform. Community Notes is a project officially launched in late 2022 and the feature enables users to "collaboratively add helpful notes" to potentially misleading tweets, according to the company. Twitter will not interfere in the process by writing, rating, or moderating the notes unless it detects a violation of its rules.
Breton had warned Musk and Twitter about compliance with the bloc's rules several times last year.
