NATO Secretary General: Putin's speech showed that the war is not going according to his plan

“Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s speech showed that the war in Ukraine is not going according to his plan, and calculations,” NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in his interview with Reuters, APA reports.

“President Putin thought that he will take Kyiv and Ukraine, but he made a mistake. His today’s decision on the mobilization once again shows that Putin conducted a wrong calculation and made a strategic mistake,” stressed NATO Secretary General.

Stoltenberg noted that the Russian army was not supplied well, the command in the army is weak, and there are serious logistics problems: “However, anyway, I think that the final decision will further tense the situation, which means more Ukrainian and Russian servicemen will die.”
