“Russian President Vladimir Putin made two big strategic mistakes. First, he did not assess correctly the courage, power of Ukrainians- Ukraine people, leadership and military forces,” said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the Brussels forum, APA reports.
According to Stoltenberg, Putin also was not able to properly assess the solidarity of NATO allies and partners: “He did not expect our such support and solidarity. We provided great support to Ukraine during this period. Last month Ukraine was provided with heavy weapons, including Leopard, Challenger, and Abraham battle tanks. Last week, Great Britain announced that long-range cruise missiles would be sent. This support is already making a difference on the battlefield.”
