“Preliminary result is that the missile fired at Poland was fired by Air Force of Ukraine to neutralize Russian cruise missiles and for self-defense,” said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the press conference following an emergency meeting held regarding the missile attack on Poland, APA reports.

NATO Secretary General noted that on November 15 Russia fired mass missile attacks at Ukrainian territories: “The investigation is underway and we should wait for the result. There is no sign that it is a deliberate attack. There are also no indications that Russia is preparing to launch aggressive military operations against NATO. The preliminary analysis is that Ukraine inflicted blows to neutralize Russia’s missile attacks. This is not Ukraine's fault, Russia is responsible for what happened.”
