Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in a video address on Wednesday that "no one in the world can feel safe" after the Russian threats on Ukrainian nuclear facilities, calling for "global control" of Moscow's nuclear technology, APA reports citing Tele Trader.

Zelenskyy noted that Russia on Tuesday launched missiles "directly over the blocks" of three major Ukrainian nuclear power plants, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, and the South-Ukrainian NPPs, also reminding of Moscow's irresponsibility in the previous forming of a military base in the Chernobyl restricted zone.

"We called everyone, we wanted a tough reaction from the world. We warned everyone that there could be a new nuclear catastrophe at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which is like six Chernobyls, and that it could simply destroy Europe," Zelenskyy underlined.
