More than 16 thousand citizens of Ukraine are considered missing, Ombudsman of Ukraine, Lyudmila Denisova stated, APA reports.

“In the first place among the appeals of Ukrainian citizens is the search for the missing. Then something was bombed, destroyed. Other issues are humanitarian corridors, assistance. But the majority is a search. We are already looking for more than 16,000 people,” she said.

As previously reported, the Russian military has already taken more than 121,000 children out of Ukraine and is preparing laws to simplify the procedure for their adoption.

Recall that in Kyiv region, the invaders kidnapped 200 people. They mostly abducted ATO/JFO participants, volunteers, or those whose phones contained any information about the presence of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine.
