Permanent IAEA missions began working at all Ukrainian nuclear power plants

Permanent missions of the International Atomic Energy Agency began to work at all Ukrainian nuclear plants, APA reports.

“During the past week, representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency arrived at domestic nuclear facilities. Specialists have now started work at the Khao NPP, so now permanent missions will work at the Rivne, Chornobyl, South Ukrainian and Khmelnytsky NPPs,” – says the messages NAEK “Energoatom”.

The task of the missions is to preserve the nuclear and radiation safety of nuclear facilities in Ukraine.

The company reminded that the experts will work at the stations in response to the official request of the government of Ukraine.

The IAEA mission has been working at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhia NPP since September 2022.
