Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas' Reform Party won Sunday parliamentary elections in a landslide victory, the country's Electoral Commission declared, APA reports.

Citizens took to the polls to select new members of the country's legislative body, the Riigikogu, with about 31.6% backing Kallas' liberal party according to more than 95% of the vote counted. The far-right EKRE opposition came in second with 16% votes.

The Baltic country's approach to the Ukrainian crisis proved to be one of the most important topics during the campaign. EKRE leaned against further arms deliveries, while Kallas (pictured) is seen as one Kiev's strongest supporters.
