"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may visit Indonesia to attend the G20 summit if Russian President Vladimir Putin attends," said an adviser to the head of the President’s Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, in an interview with the Ukrainian service of BBC, APA reports.

Otherwise, Zelensky will participate in the summit online.

But if Putin goes there, then the Ukrainian delegation will have to consider the need for its presence, Podolyak said.

“Because Putin’s presence anywhere, at any summit, indirectly means that the summit organizers legitimize the position of Russia, which attacked a sovereign state. You seem to let everyone know in this way: look, we believe that Russia had the right to come and kill Ukrainian children We must treat it this way,” Podolyak said.
