German Chancellor Olaf Scholz underlined, at a press briefing in Germany, that Russian President Vladimir Putin "must not win this war," APA reports citing Tele Trader.
Scholz stated that the Group of Seven (G7) "stands together in their support for Ukraine" and that the alliance will "drive the costs high, economically and politically" for Moscow. He further asserted that "Ukraine today needs a Marshal plan to rebuild."
The chancellor noted that this is a watershed moment and that there is no going back to the time before Russia launched its special military operation in Ukraine.
