Russia ‘is already paving the way for a takeover of Moldova’- The Times

Russia has decided to attack Moldova, said Ukrainian military sources, APA reports citing The Times.

According to publication, if this really happens, then the Kremlin can repeat the “scenario” of Donbass.

“We believe that the Kremlin has already decided to attack Moldova. The fate of Moldova is very important. If the Russians start to take control, we will become an easy target militarily and the threat to Ukraine will become existential," the source said.

There are already “a number of indicators” that point to the Kremlin’s plans for an attack, insiders say.

The publication also reports that if the Russian Federation captures Moldova, then the rashists can go towards Odessa and try to occupy Ukrainian territories from the western side.
