"Russia hit Ukraine's Sloviansk with S-300 missiles and administrative buildings, five high-rise buildings and seven private houses were destroyed," said Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military civil administration wrote on Telegram, APA reports.
As a result of the strike of Russian aggressors on the city of Sloviansk in the Donetsk region, 2 people were killed and 29 were injured. The data is not final, Pavel Kirilenko said.
“Administrative and office buildings, five high-rise buildings, and seven private houses were destroyed – these are the consequences of today’s shelling of Slovyansk. Rashists hit the city center around 10:30 with two S-300 missiles,” Kirilenko wrote.
He added that at the same time, Druzhkovka was hit by missiles – two S-300 missiles hit the orphanage and almost completely destroyed it.
“According to preliminary information, there are currently no victims or injured in Druzhkovka. The information regarding the number of victims in Sloviansk is changing – a rescue operation is underway. I will report on its progress later,” Kirilenko added.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the shelling of Sloviansk. He assured that the enemy would not go unanswered.

"Russian troops shelled Sloviansk, Donetsk region," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Facebook, APA reports.
"Another day that began with the terrorism of the Russian Federation. The aggressor state shelled our Slovyansk. Unfortunately, there is a dead person and victims of various degrees of severity. All services are working on the spot. Help is being provided. Debris clearance is in progress," the message says.
"The enemy must know: Ukraine will not forgive the abuse of our people, will not forgive these deaths and injuries. All Russian terrorists will be defeated. All those involved in this aggression will bear responsibility," said the head of state.
