Ukrainian authorities report a Russian missile attack on a residential building in Zaporozhye: several floors collapsed, there are dead, APA reports citing Perild.

According to Anatoly Kurtev, secretary of the Zaporizhia City Council, a five-story residential building in Zaporozhye was hit on the night of March 2, presumably by S-300 missiles.

Later, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military District reported two deaths as a result of a rocket attack. This information was confirmed by emergency services.

“As of 06:30, at the site of a missile attack on a residential building in Zaporozhye, the State Emergency Service rescued 11 people (including one pregnant woman) and 20 residents were evacuated from a neighboring entrance. The bodies of two people were removed from under the rubble,” reports State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations.

According to rescuers, 90 people, including three psychologists, and 24 pieces of equipment are working at the scene. Assistance points for the victims have been deployed near the collapsed house, utility buses are evacuating the surviving residents of the five-story building.

The Russian military systematically strikes Zaporozhye with missiles or drones. During the shelling and hitting residential buildings, civilians are injured or killed.
