The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Army, General Mark Milley, estimated the losses of the Russian army at "more than 100,000 personnel," APA reports citing UNIAN.

"The last time I spoke publicly about the losses of the Russians, I said that they exceed 100,000. Now I will say that they significantly exceed 100,000. The Russians suffered enormous losses among the military. We are talking about the regular army, and about mercenaries from the Wagner group and about other forces that are fighting on the side of the Russian Federation," Milley said at a briefing after Rammstein-8.

"Russia announced mobilization. They wanted to gather 300,000 people. In my opinion, they managed to accumulate somewhere between 200,000 and 250,000. Therefore, they replace human losses, but these losses are huge," the general added.

The U.S. general noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have also suffered significant personnel casualties.
