"Turkiye and Greece are important NATO allies, and we want them to resolve their disagreements through diplomatic ways," said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, APA reports.
"These two countries are our valuable allies and make great contributions to NATO. There are indeed disagreements between them, and we expect them to resolve these different approaches through diplomatic ways," Stoltenberg said.
Anthony Blinken also called the parties to a constructive dialogue.
"The parties should resolve the disagreements constructively, by diplomatic means. Both Turkiye and Greece are our very important partners. There is a very serious threat ahead of us. Russia's aggression against Ukraine. And we should be unified, direct our resources to support Ukraine," Blinken stressed.
