Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavuşoğlu and Hungarian Minister of Trade and Foreign Affairs Péter Szijjártó had a meeting, APA reports citing Szijjártó's Facebook account.
"Peace is necessary and requires negotiations. While negotiations need mediators. So far, only Turkiye has been able to mediate between the warring parties successfully. My friend Mevlut Çavuşoğlu played a big role in all in this process, and it is an honor for me to greet the Turkish foreign minister in Budapest again," Szijjártó wrote.
Notably, the meeting took place as a part of Çavuşoğlu's visit to Hungary.
