"Tbilisi will not be able to impose economic sanctions against Russia because of its own national interests and security challenges," stated Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili at Qatari Economic Forum., APA's bureau in Georgia reports.

"We, Georgians, will not be able to impose national economic sanctions against Russia because of a very natural reason. Because we have our own national interests, we have our own security challenges, economic challenges. This is our main motivation," said the head of government.

"Georgia is not the only country that has not imposed national economic sanctions on Russia for security reasons. I, as the head of the Government, should think about the security of our people. Of course, politically we stand with the international community, we are in full coordination with our partners," added Gharibashvili.
