There has been no attack on Turkish Embassy in Iraq, says Cavusoglu

"There has been no attack on Turkish Embassy in Baghdad, security of Embassy has been strengthened," said Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut in his interview with TRT Haber TV channel while speaking about an attack in Zakho district of Dohuk region of Iraq, which left 8 dead, 23 injured people, APA reports.

Minister has noted that Turkish flag was attempted to be burnt in an office, where a visa is issued, and a rally was held nearby former building of the Embassy: "Turkish fight in Iraq's different regions is against PKK terror organization. Turkiye has never fired civilian people, at the same time there has never been an attack on civilian people in Dohuk. In fact, it aims to prevent Turkiye's fight against terrorism."
