The city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region, the rubble of the Amstor shopping and entertainment center, which was hit by Russian missiles declared three days of mourning for the dead, Mayor Vitaly Maletsky said on Facebook, APA reports.

Governor Dmitry Lunin said that as of Tuesday morning, June 28, more than half of the rubble had already been dismantled, and the fire had been extinguished. Now work is underway to search for 36 people who went missing.

The mayor of the city, Vitaly Maletsky, noted that on June 28, 29 and 30, three-day mourning for the dead was declared in the city.

“Today is Constitution Day in Ukraine. But in Kremenchuk, the state flags will be flown at half-mast. It is forbidden to hold any entertainment events on these days,”.

He added that what happened is the biggest tragedy in the modern history of Kremenchuk.

Notably, according to the latest data, 18 people died from a missile attack on the mall. In the morning, rescuers reported that they had disassembled the fragments of building structures on 60% of the total area.
