Turkey-Georgia Joint Economic Commission to hold first meeting after a 14-year break

The first meeting of the Turkey-Georgia Joint Economic Commission will be held after a 14-year break, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia said, APA's Georgian bureau reports. 

According to the Ministry, Minister Natia Turnava will visit Turkey to attend the meeting.

"The format of economic cooperation between Georgia and Turkey - The Joint Economic Commission has not been operating since 2005. The commission resumed its activity on October 31 during a visit by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Qahariya to Turkey. After a 14-year break, it was decided to hold a meeting of the Joint Economic Commission," the Ministry reported.
