The first serial electric car of Turkish production TOGG will be on sale in a few days, said Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Türkiye, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
Starting price of TOGG is expected to be 1 million lira (about $53,000).
“The project, within the framework of which the pre-order process will begin this week with the announcement of its price, will turn another dream into reality. Starting from the end of March, 20,000 cars will be delivered to their owners gradually until the end of 2023, according to the order,” the newspaper reads.
The C-SUV Togg with a 200 horsepower engine will be sold ‘at an affordable price’ due to the ceiling limit of 1.6 million lira (about 85 thousand dollars).
