The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey has released an explanation on that Turkish citizens, living abroad, face pressures after Peace Spring operations, APA’s local bureau reports citing Turkish MFA.
According to the explanation, although officials of some countries were warned, measures have not been taken in order to prevent incidents: “Supporters of PKK terror organization are increasing pressures in European countries especially. Terrorists attack to workplaces, event venues, and mosques, attended by Turkish people.”
Explanation noted that measures have been strengthened in Embassies, Consulates, and other organizations of Turkey to these countries for security of Turkish people living abroad.
In the end, noted that Turkey expects authorized persons of these countries to pay attention to the issue.
