A telephone conversation has been held between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Finland President Sauli Niinistö, Niinistö wrote on Twitter, APA reports.

"An open and direct phone call with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. I stated that as NATO Allies Finland and Turkey will commit to each other’s security and our relationship will thus grow stronger. Finland condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. Close dialogue continues," noted President.

A telephone conversation has been held between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister of Sweden Magdalena Andersson, APA reports citing NTV.

The sides have discussed Sweden's NATO membership.
