Türkiye's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Fatih Donmez did not rule out gas transportation to other European countries through Bulgaria, APA reports citing Anadolu.

Commenting on the 13-year contract for the supply of 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year to Bulgaria, Fatih Dönmez noted that an agreement was reached between the Turkish company "Botaş" and "Bulgargaz" just three weeks after the Istanbul meeting of the presidents of the two countries.

"Türkiye contributes to Bulgaria's energy security. In general, according to the contract, it is 20 billion. cubic meter of gas. If the necessary conditions are created, Türkiye can organize gas trade through Bulgaria, that is, meet the gas demand of third countries," the minister noted.
