"Turkiye suggests establishment of a corridor for evacuation of patients and wounded in Ukraine," said Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca in the 75th session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, APA reports citing NTV.
"It is necessary to establish a reliable medical corridor for evacuation of patients and wounded people from the conflict zone. I call on international union, including the World Health Organization, to support the suggestion. Turkiye is ready to do its part for evacuation of patients and wounded," added F. Koca.
Minister has noted medical equipment and medicines will be sent to Ukraine within the framework of humanitarian aid.
