In 2022, Ukraine received the highest level of aid worth UAH 410 billion from the United States, said Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a government meeting on Friday, January 6, APA reports citing Ukrinform.

"If we talk about the largest level of assistance, then the United States provided UAH 410 billion. The countries of the European Union and its institutions, together with the European Investment Bank, provided UAH 390 billion. UAH 88 billion was received from the IMF. UAH 60 billion came from Canada. UAH 35 billion came from the UK. UAH 34 billion came from the World Bank and UAH 17 billion from Japan. There were also other amounts from many partners," Shmyhal said.

He thanked the governments and peoples of all countries that supported Ukraine financially last year.

"Thanks to this, we did not delay pensions, social benefits, or salaries for teachers or doctors for a single day. We financed all these expenses in full and on time," Shmyhal said.
