Oleksandr Kamyshin, the chairman of the board of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” visited the liberated Kherson and assured that the railway connection with this city will be restored soon, Kamyshin wrote about this on Telegram, APA reports citing Ukrinform.
“Long day. But we had to get to Kherson. Assess the damage, coordinate with the Armed Forces and the authorities, organize a team for the earliest return of rail service to Kherson,” the post says.
According to Kamyshin, demining is going fast, but it still takes time. “We will fix the damaged track and broken wagons quickly,” he promised.
“The station is on the spot. People are waiting. So there will be a train to soon Kherson“, – assured the head of Ukrzaliznytsia.
