Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that, in close coordination with the relevant Ukrainian agencies, they will continue to undertake the toughest possible measures to prevent the use of Iranian-made weapons by Russia, according to the spokesman for MFA Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko, APA reports citing Ukrinform.

"The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry publicly admitted that Tehran had handed over combat drones to the Russian Federation a few months before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine," Nikolenko wrote.

According to the spokesperson, earlier Iran denied in every possible way any supply of weapons to Russia, which the latter is employing in the ongoing war, and now the Iranian minister casually spread insinuations about the alleged refusal of the Ukrainian side to meet with Iranian experts under pressure from Western partners.

"Ukraine is taught to trust only the facts. Therefore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Dmytro Kuleba, as well as in close coordination with the relevant Ukrainian agencies, will continue to take the most stringent measures to prevent Russia from using Iranian weapons to kill Ukrainians and destroy our critical infrastructure," Nikolenko stressed.

He added that Tehran should realize that the consequences of complicity in the crimes of Russian aggression against Ukraine will be much more extensive than the benefits from Russia's support.
