"Armed forces Ukraine (APU) are already using the transferred Slovakia fighters MiG-29," vice speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine (Verkhovna Rada) Elena Kondratyuk said during a speech in the Slovak parliament, APA reports citing RIA News.
According to Elena Kondratyuk, the four aircraft handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine “are already guarding the sky over Kharkov“. The MP also thanked Slovakia for the humanitarian aid provided to Ukraine.
That Bratislava handed over Kyiv the first MiG-29 fighters, became known March 23. Then it was noted that in exchange for supplies to Ukraine, Slovakia expects to receive compensation in the amount of $900 million.
