"Since the beginning of the full-scale war unleashed by Russia, Iran has publicly declared neutrality and advocated for a ceasefire and political and diplomatic resolution," it has been reflected in the comment of spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko on the statement of the leadership of Iran in connection with the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, APA reports citing Ukraine's Foreign Ministry.
"In this regard, the Ukrainian side is concerned over the changes in rhetoric of the Iranian leadership.
Any accusations of the alleged preparation of an attack on the Russian Federation are baseless and manipulative. We call upon the Iranian side to refrain from statements or steps that would fuel the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine," stressed spokesperson.
