Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday called for strengthening the protection of Ukrainian energy facilities and restoring damaged infrastructure before the next heating season starts.
"We are working on all scenarios and will do everything to be ready to face any threat next winter," Zelensky stated in his nightly video address, noting that the preparations are already underway, and specific tasks have been identified.
According to the leader, the conflict in Ukraine resulted in significant damage to the country's energy infrastructure, and it is essential to rebuild and repair it to ensure a stable and reliable energy supply.
