Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his latest video address, criticized the nation's military officials for making a decision on permits for army personnel without consulting him first, APA reports citing Teletrader.

Zelenksy's comments come after the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on July 5 announced persons liable for military service would have to obtain permission from the enlistment offices and social support centers in order to leave their place of residence and travel to any other region.

The leader noted he instructed the military to act fast and report all the details to him regarding the move. "I ask the General Staff not to make such decisions without me in the future," he asserted.
