Azer Novruzov, the consultant to the general secretary of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, has started performing as a consultant in the Marketing Department of the European Judo Union (EJU) since November 2022, APA reports.
The contract in this regard is presented to him by European Judo Union president Laszlo Toth and EJU marketing director Jacek Zawadka.
A. Novruzov has more than ten years of experience in sports management. He was a member of the organizing committee of numerous international competitions, such as the European Games, Islamic Solidarity Games, and World and European Championships. In addition, he worked as a sports manager in Azerbaijan Judo Federation from 2011 to 2013 and from 2016 to 2017.
A. Novruzov participated in the Sports Science program organized by the Austrian "SPOWI" company and studied in the field of sports. Also, since this year, he has continued his studies in the International Judo Federation on Sports Management bachelor's program.
The Azerbaijan Judo Federation participates as an active member in the projects and activities of the European Judo Union. Representing our employees in international institutions is important in terms of applying the experiences of those institutions in our country, as well as bringing the successes and experience of our country in this field to the international arena. As a federation, we will continue our consistent activities for our employees to be represented in various sections of the International Judo Federation and the European Judo Union.
