Fight between Azerbaijani and Armenian boxers will not take place for the next time in the international tournament in Kielce city of Poland, the Boxing Federation of Azerbaijan told Apasport.az.
The cause is Armenians' leaving the race incomplete.
If Armen Gushchiyan (Armenia) refused to fight with Masud Yusifzadeh (51 kg) in the 1/4 finals at 51 kg, this time Armenian team left the tournament. This means that Malik Hasanov (63,5 kg) qualified for the decisive match without fighting Hamlet Minatsakanyan (Armenia) in the semi-finals. His opponent in the final will be the winner of the pair of Frank Roman Samuel (Romania) and Frank Clery (Ireland).
