The Azerbaijani team won two more medals at the Second European Games held in Minsk, Belarus, APA's correspondent reports from Minsk.

Both medals were won in 73kg of male judo.

Rustam Orujov, the flagman of the Azerbaijani national team, met Tommi Machias of Sweden in the finals. The finalist of the Rio 2016, was defeated and won the silver medal of the European Games and the European Championship.

Another athlete Hidayat Heydarov has faced Lasha Shavdatuashvili (Georgia) for the third place. Hidayat Heydarov defeated Georgian opponent and won a bronze medal.

Note that the number of medals of the national team of Azerbaijan in Minsk-2019 has reached 6.
