The Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has adjusted its inflation forecast in direction of reducing it, APA-Economics reports CBA.
One of the main reasons for it is deflation in July-August. According to the updated forecasts for September, inflation is expected to be 3-3.2% at the end of 2020, which is lower than the targetted interval.
Note that in January-August of this year, inflation was 2.9% in Azerbaijan.
