Azerbaijan’s non-oil export increases by 5%

In January-February of this year, export of Azerbaijan was USD 3,2 bln, and increased by USD 97 mln or 3,1% in comparison to the related period of 2019, Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication told APA-Economics.

According to the information, during this period, export worth USD 296 mln. on non oil export was realized. During January-Februray of 2020, export in non oil sector increased by USD 14,2 mln or by 5% in comparison to the related period of 2019.

During January-February of this year the goods related to non-oil sector and worth US$ 88 million were exported to Russia, US$ 75.3 million – to Turkey, US$ 34.9 million – to Georgia, US$ 28.8 million – to Switzerland and US$ 7.6 million – to China.

As compared with the relevant period of 2019, during the initial two months of 2020, the non-oil exports to Russia increased by 7.4%, to Turkey – by 18.5%, to Switzerland – by 40% and to China – by 19.9%.
