Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Turkey increased by 2% in January

In January of this year the volume of trade exchange of Azerbaijan with Turkey was $ 224 418,1 thousand which is $ 4 388,8 thousand or 2% more in comparison to the same month of the previous year, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the report of State Customs Committee.

In January of the current year, the volume of export from Azerbaijan to Turkey was $ 122 736,2 thousand which is $ 4 982,2 thousand or 3,9% less in comparison to the same month of 2019. The volume of import was $ 101 681,8 thousand, this indicator increased by 10% or $ 9 371 thousand in comparison to January of the previous year.

As a result, there has been a positive balance worth $ 21 054,4 thousand which is $ 14 353,3 thousand or 40,5% less in annual comparison.
