Azerbaijan develops joint five-year investment strategy with World Bank and IFC

Strategy is being developed in Azerbaijan with World Bank and International Finance Corporation  on the involving of direct investments which will cover 2021-2025 years, said Yusif Abdullayev acting president of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) in his speech at online B2G Forum organized by Caspian Energy Club, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, it has a special place in the strategy that in which fields, in which form, in which period, and with which terms direct investments will be involved concretely: “Strict specialists have been involved in preparation of investment strategy. Additionally, our “Invest in Azerbaijan” mechanisms are also prepared and the issue of companies’ joining global value range is discussed. We carry out these works together with McKenzy Company. Works will be completed in the middle of the next year. There will also be very interesting projects and mechanisms”, noted Y. Abdullayev.
