During January-May of this year, the index of consumption prices in Azerbaijan accounted for 102.9% as compared with January-May of 2019, including the index of consumption prices for the food products, beverages and tobacco products that accounted for 105.5%, for non-food products that accounted for 101.2%, and for the paid services rendered to people that accounted for 101%, “APA-Economics” reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
In May of the current year, the index of consumption prices accounted for 99.5% as compared with the previous month and for 102.9% as compared with May of the previous year. In May, 2020, the index of consumption prices for food products, beverages and tobacco products accounted for 98.7% as compared with the previous month and for 105.7% as compared with May of the previous year.
