Azerbaijan reduces by 14% upper limit of percentage payments for foreign public debt

The upper limit of Azerbaijan’s expenditure related to servicing of the foreign public debt for 2020 has been approved at the amount of AZN 1,695 012.878 thousand, "APA-Economics" reports citing the state budget for 2020.

As compared with the same period of the last year, the limit has been reduced by 21% or by the amount of AZN 467,158.134 thousand.

And the upper limit of the percentage payments related to servicing of the forign public debt has been envisaged at AZN 517,885.588 thousand which is less by 14% or AZN 83,933.558 thousand as compared with the previous year.

Note that the upper limit of the Azerbaijan internal public indebtedness for 2020 has been approved at AZN 400,000.0 thousand, and the upper limit of the foreign public indebtedness – at AZN 1,000,000.0 thousand.
