Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover decreased by 13% in January-February

The volume of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover has made up USD 4 399 969,5 thousand in January-February of 2021 decreasing by 12,6 % in comparison to the same months of 2020, APA-Economics reports citing the State Customs Committee.

Azerbaijan has exported products in the amount of 2 787 994,38 thousand dollars to foreign countries in reporting period, while the volume of the import has made up 1 611 975,11 thousand dollars. As a result, the trade surplus amounted to $ 1 176 019,3 thousand.

Positive balance of Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover has decreased by 19,6%, while the export and import have decreased appropriately 14,2 % and 9,8% in the first 2 months of this year in comparison to January-February of 2020.
