Azerbaijan's positive trade balance with EU countries decreased by 46%

The volume of Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with European Union (EU) countries has made up USD 8,892 bln in January-November of this year, and this is 3,286 bln dollars or 27% less than in comparison to the analogical period of 2019, APA-Economics reports citing the figures published by the State Customs Committee.

According to the calculations, the volume of the export has made up 6,577 bln dollars decreasing by 34,3% in the reporting period in comparison to the same period of 2019, while the volume of the import has made up 2,315 bln dollars increasing by 7%.

There was positive trade balance in the amount of 4,262 bln dollars in the first 11 months of the current year, and this is 3,590 bln dollars or 45,7% less than in comparison to the same period of 2019.
