Azerbaijan’s trade deficite with US decreased by more than 17% last year

The volume of Azerbaijan’s trade exchange with the US has made up 660,85 mln dollars in 2020, and this is 16,6% less than in comparison to 2019, APA-Economics reports citing the report of the State Statistics Committee.
The volume of export from Azerbaijan to the US has made up 24,94 mln dollars in 2020, and this is 0,81 mln dollars or 3,4% more than in comparison to the previous year.
The volume of the import has been equal to 635,92 mln dollars, and this is 131,84 mln dollars or 17,2% less than in comparison to 2019.
As a result, 610,98 million dollars of a negative balance of trade occurred in the reporting period, and this is 132,65 mln dollars or 17,8% less than in annual comparison.
