The price of Bitcoin, the world’s most famous cryptocurrency, has reached an all-time high of over $35,000 late on Tuesday, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The digital currency rose to over $20,000 on December 16 on the back of a 170% rally, with its value up more than 300% over the past year resulting in a market capitalization of over $600 billion.
Bitcoin increased by 2.82% to go for 35,000.722 against the dollar at 11:24 pm ET, extending a winning streak this year, amid growing interest amongst investment companies in its potential to become a mainstream asset.
