GDP decreases by 3% in Azerbaijan

In January-August of this year, gross domestic product (GDP) worth AZN 45 962,5 mln. has been produced in Azerbaijan, which is 3% less in comparison with the same period of the previous year, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

Additional value has decreased by 1.7% in the non-oil sector of economy, while 4.9% in oil-gas sector.

35.2% of the GDP production falls to share of industry, while 11.2% to trade, 7.6% to transport and stock agriculture, 7.2% to agriculture, forestry agriculture and fishery, 6.1% to construction, 2% to information and communication, 1.3% to settlement of tourists and public catering facilities, while 19% to other fields, net taxes to product and import have made up 10.4% of GDP.

GDP per capita has been AZN 4 611,7.
