“The chairman of Board of the Central Bank has also said the issue of freezing of consumer loans is under consideration”, said today Ibrahim Mammadov, head of press service of the Cabinet of Ministers at the press conference organized by the Taskforce under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.
I. Mammadov said the people who received consumer loans are mostly the employed persons: “And the government is providing its support to just such persons. They are provided with the opportunity to close their credits. Firstly, the government does not allow their dismissal from a job, secondly, gives them salaries through the Salary Fund, thirdly, the credit taking opportunities are created by the government for the enterprises which employ them, and fourthly, the tax vacations will be applied to them. In other words, all opportunities are being created to enable those persons to repay their credits. However, this issue is being separately discussed in all cases”.
