Import of tobacco products decreased by 26,6% in Azerbaijan

During January-July of this year, the value of raw tobacco and products made of tobacco imported into Azerbaijan decreased compared to the indicator for the relevant period of the last year, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.

In the reporting period, the tobacco and products made of tobacco valued at $ 46 053,88 thousand were imported into the country which is $ 16 741,6 thousand or 26,6% less compared to the same period of the last year.

Note that during the past seven months of this year, the import of tobacco and products made of tobacco accounted for 0,78% of Azerbaijan’s total import.
