Moody's Investors Service projects Azerbaijan’s budget revenue to decrease this year, APA-Economics reports citing Moody's.

According to the forecast, the country’s revenue/GDP will fall by 12.5 percentage points in 2020.

Moody's says that within emerging markets, oil-exporters will see the largest drop in revenue this year given the sizeable drop in both demand for and the price of oil and their heavy dependence on revenue derived from the sector.

Note that Azerbaijan’s budget revenue (the income of state budget) made up 24.218 billion manats or 29.9% of GDP, while the expenses amounted to 24.426 billion manats or 29.9% of GDP.
